Summary report on the social health of King County for
United Way of King County (Washington).
Funded by SAFECO Insurance.
The challenge was taking an 86-page report produced by academicians and creating a summary that is easy to read while maintaining the integrity of the larger document. Five hundred thousand copies were printed and distributed by the Seattle Times, King County Libraries and United Way of King County. (Recognized with IABC Merit Award and Dalton Pen Award, 2000.)

To create this marketing brochure, Prater assembled a team of writers, illustrators, designers and printers. Since seniors usually have more leisure time, the brochure is text heavy and provides many details about the community.
